| A few years back the
name LYCÉE did not ring a bell in the academic circle.
Today LYCÉE is regarded as one of the premiere secondary
schools in south Kolkata because of its sheer academic excellence.
The I.C.S.E. 2007 results with 100% success, 19 students
securing above 90% and topper getting 97.8% will vouch for
the same.
The school needs to expand
very badly; particularly introduction of classes XI and
XII is absolutely necessary. Till date the main problem
was dearth of space. Recently LYCÉE has been allotted
a plot of 1/2 acre of land off E.M. Bypass near Peerless
Hospital where a state of the art building with all modern
facilities will come up so that classes XI and XII may be
introduced very soon.
